At PDI Partners, we are seeking a driven and analytical Technology Advisory Consultant to join our growing practice in the UAE. In this role, you will step away from checklist auditing and actively help enterprise clients align their technology architecture with board-level risk strategy and regional compliance mandates.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to execute IT General Controls (ITGC) assessments and technology risk audits across complex enterprise environments.
- Support the design and implementation of cybersecurity frameworks, including Zero Trust architectures and data governance models.
- Assist clients in navigating regional GCC regulatory requirements, such as UAE NESA, SAMA Cybersecurity Framework, and the UAE PDPL.
- Participate in Post-Implementation Reviews (PIR) for major Cloud and ERP transformations (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Analyze technical vulnerabilities and help draft clear, business-focused risk reports for executive stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging technology risks, including AI Governance and Cloud Security Posture Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Technology Risk, IT Audit, or Cyber GRC consulting (boutique or Big-4 experience is highly valued).
- Strong foundational knowledge of global frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, or ISO 27001.
- Currently holding or actively pursuing relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, Security+, or cloud provider certifications).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- A proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow within a specialized advisory environment.
